THE KINGDOM CHOIR: A PERFECT PITCH

CONDITIONS OF ENTRY

  1. Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these Conditions of Entry. Entry into this promotion is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions of entry.
  2. Entry is open to residents of NSW, QLD and VIC only. Employees of the Promoter and their immediate families, participating outlets and agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter. While, individuals aged under 18 years are permitted to enter the promotion, these individuals must have the consent of their parent or legal guardian to enter the promotion and their parent or legal guardian must read and consent to these Conditions of Entry and may be required by the Promoter to enter into a further agreement as evidence of consent to the individual aged under 18 years entering this promotion
  3. To enter this promotion, each entrant must submit a video of their choir (Choir Entrant) performing to media@teglive.com.au. Also include a name or reference for the Choir Entrant, and name, address, daytime contact details and email address details of the Choir Entrant’s representative (Choir Representative) so that the Choir Entrant may be contacted, as requested. Each Choir Entrant must be no larger than 20 people to be eligible to enter. The Choir Representative must submit the completed entry as directed (Entry).
  4. Each Entry will be individually judged based on quality of the Choir Entrant’s performance, creative merit and originality. This is a game of skill and chance plays no part in determining the winners. Judges decision in relation to all aspects of this promotion is final and binding on all who enter, no correspondence will be entered into.
  5. Only one Entry per Choir Entrant is permitted. For the removal of doubt, an invalid Entry consisting of a completed survey, may still be included for research purposes only.
  6. Competition commences on [1 May 2019] and closes on [31 May 2019] (the Competition Period). Entries will be judged by a panel of judges appointed by the Promoter. The judging will take place at TEG Live, Level 3, 175 Liverpool Street, Sydney and will begin at 11am on [3 June 2019] and ends on [21 June 2019] during the promotional period. The Judges will select one Choir Entrant to receive the Major Prize and one Choir Entrant to be the runner up in each state (being NSW, QLD and Vic). Each Major Prize Winner and Runners-Up will be contacted by phone and in writing using contact details provided in their Entry.
  7. The Major Prize Choir Entrants will each win:
    1. 1x Masterclass with Karen Gibson and members of The Kingdom Choir, to be held at the venue the afternoon of the performance in the city from which the Choir Entrant is located;
    2. An invitation to perform two songs on stage as an opener to The Kingdom Choir’s performance;
    3. 20x complimentary tickets to The Kingdom Choir performance; and
    4. An friends and family ticket offer entitling friends and family of members of the Choir Entrant to purchase tickets to The Kingdom Choir performance at a 40% discount price. The discount offer will be valid until the show is sold out.
  8. The Runners-Up Choir Entrants will each win:
    1. an invitation to perform two songs on stage as an opener to The Kingdom Choir’s performance;
    2. 20x complimentary tickets to The Kingdom Choir performance; and
    3. friends and family ticket offer entitling friends and family of members of the Choir Entrant to purchase tickets to The Kingdom Choir performance at a 40% discount price. The discount offer will be valid until the show is sold out.
  9. The total prize pool is valued at [enter total prize values $34,500]. Prize does not include any ancillary costs associated with redeeming the prize. These are the responsibility of the winner. Prize must be claimed before [1 July 2019] .
  10. This prize is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash. In event the prize becomes unavailable for any reason whatsoever the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize, for a prize of equal value subject to the reference of all relevant rules and regulations.
  11. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any Choir Entrant or Choir Representative for tampering with the entry process or for submitting an entry which is not in accordance with these Conditions of Entry. The Promoter may in their absolute discretion require that the individual provide photographic identification or some other acceptable form identification or proof of age before awarding the prize.
  12. Prize winners names will be published on the Promoter’s web site, teglive.com.au
  13. The Promoter reserves the right to request that the winner provide proof of age and identity prior to awarding the prize. Identification considered suitable for verification is at the discretion of the Promoter. Prize winner may be required to sign a declaration confirming their eligibility to accept the prize. Redemption of prize is subject to the standard terms and condition of attendance to [the Masterclasses or shows] (including but not limited to the guidelines of the event co-ordinators and the venue).
  14. The Promoter is neither responsible nor liable for any loss or damage suffered in the event that the [Masterclass or show] is postponed, cancelled, rescheduled or relocated for any reason whatsoever.
  15. Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter (including its officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence) for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the promotion, including, but not limited to, where arising out of the following: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter’s control); (b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (c) any entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (d) any variation in prize value to that stated in these conditions of entry; (e) any tax liability incurred by a winner or entrant; (f) participation in the promotion and/or (g) redemption of the prize..
  16. Within 2 days of the end of the judging, all winners will be notified in writing of the prize they have won and how the prize will be delivered. In the event a winner is unable to be contacted, and all reasonable methods of communication are deemed to be unsuccessful, unclaimed prizes will be dealt with as prescribed by the law of the State or Territory of Australia in which the prizewinner resides. The prize remains the property of the Promoter until claimed by the prizewinner. A second chance judging will take place in order to distribute any unclaimed and still valid prizes.
  17. By entering, the Choir Entrant and Choir Representative agree that the Promoter, their respective parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotions agencies, and their respective officers, directors, and employees shall not be liable for injury, loss (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss), or damage of any kind resulting from participating in this promotion or from the acceptance or use/misuse of the prize awarded. This includes, without limitation, personal injury, death, and property damage, and claims based on publicity rights, defamation, or invasion of privacy.
  18. Where prize is awarded in the form of a voucher/ letter/ ticket or pass, the Promoter shall not be liable for any voucher/letter / ticket or pass that has been lost, stolen, forged, damaged or tampered with in any way. Redemption of voucher/letters/ ticket/ pass is subject to terms and conditions stipulated on voucher/letter/ticket/pass.
  19. No responsibility accepted for late, lost or misdirected entries and all entries are deemed to be received at the time of receipt of the web entry into the Promotion database and NOT time of transmission by the entrant.
  20. The Promoter is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, or for any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilised in this competition, or for any technical error that may occur in the course of the administration of this competition. The Promoter assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, Interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to or alteration of entries.
  21. All entries become the property of the Promoter and may be used for promotional purposes, subject to the Promoter’s privacy policy. Choir Representatives who do not want their personal information used for the above purposes, or who want to gain access to or correct their personal information should contact the Promoter.
  22. By entering the competition, the Choir Representative consents to receipt of any email regarding the competition, and other emails which inform the Choir Representative of the Promoter’s other publications, products, services and events and to promote third party goods and services it may be interested in.
