Out 2 Lunch | Event Information

EVENT NOTICE
On Saturday 4 May 2024 a live music event called Out 2 Lunch Festival will be held on the western end of Coolangatta Beach and adjacent to Queen Elizabeth Park and foreshore areas. There will be amplified music from 3.00pm to 10.00pm with gates open at 2.00pm and a peak volume between 7.30pm and 9.30pm.
The event will be headlined by globally recognised artist, Fisher, who also happens to call Coolangatta home. The event has been scheduled to align with the World Surfing League Event at Snapper Rocks over the Labour Day weekend.
To enable this to occur, Marine Parade will be closed to vehicles on event day. Commencing on Monday 29 April 2024, there will be a phased bump in which has been designed to ensure community access to the beach and park during this build period is maintained. During the event, a portion of the foreshore park and beach will be fenced off. The bump out phase will commence immediately after the event’s completion and will be completed no later than Thursday 9 May 2024.
